Just behind the Karmelicka block – ul. Tanbarska, there is a church of the Visitation of the Blessed Virgin, belonging to the Carmelites – On the sand. The beginnings of its construction date back to the times of Władysław Herman, that is, the 11th century, but in its final shape, the temple was not erected until the fourteenth century. The most famous monument is located in the side chapel. Our Lady of Sand, and this is the image of the patroness – exposed daily at. 16.30. According to legend, image, being an unfinished work, he painted himself wonderfully.

Looking from the Karmelicka side (near the road sign), On the height 1 m above the ground, you can see a small recess with a preserved reflection of Queen Jadwiga's foot. The touched queen put her foot on the stone and unfastened the golden buckle from the sandal, she gave it to the bricklayer. After her departure, a mark was left on the stone, which today can be seen on the south-eastern wall of the temple.
