East in the Wawel collection
A separate exhibition was organized on the 1st and 2nd floors in the west wing of the castle (known as the Queen's House), which is accessed by the entrance from the hall in front of the Senator's Hall. A collection of huge Turkish and Persian tents unfolds before those who enter, the largest in Poland and one of the largest in Europe. You can also admire eastern carpets here (the most valuable is Persian from the 16th century. from Tabriz, called Rajski). In the midst of this soft wealth, Chinese and Persian utensils and oriental weapons were laid out. A great attraction is the saber of the grand vizier – Kara mustafy.
